Making a Plea for Unity and Healing
The Chief Minister admitted that people have suffered because of the continued problems. "I want to say sorry to the people of Manipur. The problems and unrest have hurt me deeply. I promise to work for peace," Singh said. He asked everyone to forget their differences and strive to create a better future.
Plans for a Better Manipur
Singh promised to help the state recover and said that everyone's voice would be heard. He emphasized that working together is crucial, along with ensuring development reaches all sectors of society. He vowed to treat all complaints seriously and accord all communities the respect they deserve.

- Encouraging discussions between different communities to build trust and understanding.
How People React

Experts feel this might be the turning point for Manipur. "Saying sorry is a brave move, but what matters is whether his plans will really work," said one political expert.
The Role of People in Peace
Singh reminded everyone that peace will only result if people will also do their part to achieve it. "Each of us has to do our part to create harmony in our everyday lives. Let's choose kindness over hate," he urged.
